The course is intended for people who have never or very little studied French. At the end of the semester, the learner will be able to understand and communicate in simple and concrete situations of daily life. The course is built around four skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking. It aims to acquire elementary grammatical skills and basic lexicon to communicate in French in its immediate environment The content is centered on daily life and on the discovery of French civilization (family, school and professional life, administration in France , gastronomy, leisure, arts etc.)
